Ruby and Roy

First off I will say that Ruby and Roy seem like very nice people and I think that they will help Heidi on her journey to find what "soof" means. I think this because on page 183 it says that Ruby carried Heidi's suitcase for her and I think that is very nice because Heidi will have trouble carrying all that stuff.

Soof

On page 129 she thinks that Soof is her fathers name. I think she is right because when Heidi show So B. It the picture of her and there Grammy mama said "Soof." Plus Heidi wondered who was taking the picture and So B. It remembered that her dad was taking the picture so that is why she had said soof when Heidi showed So B. It the picture. Also on page 164 that Elliot guy said soof too so that led me to believe that maybe soof wasn't Heidi's father. So I hope I find out what soof really is. So have fun reading!

Hello, my name is Evan Phillips and I am going to be reporting to you live, while I make my journey to Mars. I know I am going to win the trip to Mars contest, so I am going to write about it. When I get back it will be a piece of history. In this article I will talk about all the things I have learned during my trip in space. I will report back to you in hopefully 1 hour. Bye!

It has been 2 hours and this is my second report. Before I got on the ship they told me a lot about space. For example, when a planet is created, two molecules hit and it makes a planet. But for the planet to really become a planet the molecules have to collide over and over again and again. They also told me that planets orbit the sun, satellites (moons) orbit planets and most stars orbit the centre of mass of their galaxies. Some space experts told me not to get confused because there are two different types of satellites, one is a moon and the other one is created by humans and shot into space so I have to be careful about which one is which. I will be reporting back to you in about an hour and a half!

I saw the coolest thing that I will probably ever see in my life. It was a solar eclipse! It was so cool. The moon came right in front of the Earth and blocked out a very small portion of light shining on the Earth from the sun. The moon only blocked out some of the light that shines on the earth from the Sun because the moon is only 1/4 of the size of the Earth. I also learned about another type of eclipse. It is called a lunar eclipse. It's when the moon goes behind the Earth and the Earth blocks out all of the moon's light. So since the moon is 1/4 of the Earth's size, the moon has complete darkness. Yes! I am getting very close to Mars! See you in another half an hour! 

I am about 2 hours away from Mars now and it is so exiting! I have some more facts that I want to share with you about the phases of the moon and what does the moon does for the Earth. The phases of the moon are called full moon and new moon. A full moon happens when the moon is behind the Earth and we see the side of the moon that is lit by the sun, so it appears the moon is fully lit. In a new moon the moon goes in front of the sun and we see the side of the moon that has no light. Now I'll tell you about the moon's impact on the Earth. Long ago, when the moon hit the Earth, the moon got caught in the Earth's gravitational pull and became a satellite. The moon spins around the Earth and it make tides. Pretty cool! Did you know that when the moon hit the Earth, it sent the Earth on a tilt and now the Earth spins at a 23.45 degree angle! Well, that's all the facts I can give you but I will finish it off. In another half an hour. Bye for now!

So my journey has almost come to an end but I will just sum it up. I have learned a lot of things on my journey into space and i hope you have learned some things too. I will probably never experience something like this again so I am going to treasure this moment forever. Thank you for reading this and goodbye!

 

Ending

OMG such a good ending. I especially like the part on page 258 when Bobby and his dad have the very powerful moment and they hug! So nice. They finally got the moment that they were waiting for. Also just quick notes, Kelsey asks Bobby to the dance! Colin is gay too and likes Joe! Addie goes out with DuShawn!
So many good things, it's so good. Oh and also Bobby's amazing speech. Bravo Bobby. That was great!
