Bobby

hi guys
hope you are liking the book.
I just noticed this and I sticky noted it but it says that Bobby has to do what ever he can to help out with his dad. I think this means that his family is not very weathey

Enjoy!

  1. Well, I think they mention that on the first page, actually, since it already tells that he has to work, even when he's on the 7th grade, and that the only job he could take was the one with tie selling or something, because the owner (Mr. Kellerman, Killer Man, Executioner, w/e) knows his dad.

I realize that you weren't in the discussion today (and I'm hoping you are feeling better, and so is everyone else), but we discussed about the effect everyone has on the book, which character you could compare to, some funny parts, predictions, stuff like that. You're in our group, since we split up into two groups. Just to inform you.

    By the way, they are:

    Ellen
    Carter
    Will
    Stephen

    Evan

    You'll get along. *wink*

  2. Wow evan i never thought of that and i think your right. I mean hes 12 and has a job, and his dad calls him Hammer and working tool meaning he may work really hard. Bobby seem to wear some raggity clothes, so maybe your right he may come from and not so wealthy family. I belive that somewhere in the book he will be happier than usual and so will Mr.Kellerman!
